Janets love of gardening didnt start until after she took early retirement and decided to spruce up her dismal landscape. The next year she took the Master Gardening training and learned how to actually grow and care for plants. She embraced the concept of Water Wise Gardening in her landscape and as a speaker. A few years later she took the Master Naturalist training and is active in that group also. Seeing caterpillars on her fennel plant started Janets education about butterfly gardening. A trip to the migration site of the monarch butterflies inspired her to learn more and share her knowledge and fascination with others.
