This article provides steps on how to create an alert on a group of nodes using a custom property. It gives you the option of using variables to pull back the Group Name and Group Member Name of the Node that has triggered the alert. Steps. To create a custom property and associate your Group with it Go to your Web Console  Settings  Manage Custom Properties. Add custom property.
